I am so sorry for the loss of your Sasha. She was such a baby…way too young to die. As we cruely found out…canine cancer is more prevalent than we ever thought….and it can happen at any age. Our beloved Labrador Retriever, Ralph, who is pictured on this site, died suddenly of what appeared to be nasal cancer. It went undetected and one day his nose bled and within 24 hrs. he was gone. We were shocked, eventhough he was nine, we feel like he was gyped out of some quality years of life. It just seems so unacceptable to happen to a dog as young as yours. I wish I knew what could have prevented this ugly monster from taking our dogs precious lives…we thought we did everything right..but unfortunately, it doesn’t always seem to matter. I hope you will get some comfort from this site. I was so upset and still am that my dog passed away so suddenly. I would lay in bed late at night…googling every site imaginable for answers. Unfortunately, the reality is canine cancer just happens..no matter how well we take care of our animals.This site really helped me feel better…and not so alone. Sharing my story with other animal lovers…some who have lost their best friends to cancer and some that just truly love animals and wanted to express their heartfelt condolences to us …it was very touching and such a comfort. I hope this site will give you some comfort and even answers to why you lost your Sasha so young.
