Condolences to Ane Morales

March 18th, 2006 · No Comments

All of us at
Canine Cancer Awareness send out our deepest sympathies to Ane
Morales and her family on the loss of Fatty on March 11th after
a valiant 9 month battle with lymphoma. 4 years old is way too
young. Ane has been a loyal supporter donating all of the
proceeds from her “Friends of Fatty” bracelets to our cause. To read
more about Fatty, please go to: www.friendsoffatty.com . Godspeed Fatty, we
will miss you.
We would like to thank Paul
Livingstone of the Portland Press Herald for his informative
article on CCA which was published on March 8th. Hopefully, this
will have reached affected owners so that they know they are not
alone. Unfortunately, the article is not available online.
This is the second time in a month that CCA’s work is featured in
the press. Carla Hall of the LA Times wrote a wonderful article on
2-14 featuring Cuervo Torres, one of our formally sponsored
dogs. To read Carla’s article, please click here. We are all making a
difference!
Canine Cancer Awareness has
recently become the recipient of a generous $1,000 donation
made by Multi-Pak Corporation. We are truly touched by their efforts
to help us help others. Thank you
Multi-Pak!
We also extend our
appreciation to Suzanne Zimmerman and her family for their continued
support. They have, for the second year, donated funds in memory of
their dog Max to host this web site. They truly deserve special
mention as they are the ones making your reading this and viewing
anything on this site possible.
