Charlie is an 8 year old Aussie/Rottweiler mix diagnosed with Bronchoalveolar Carcinoma grade III.
This is Charlie. He is my heart and soul! So full of life I couldn’t believe it when they told me he had a month maybe two to live. Charlie has Adenocarcinoma a very serious and fast moving cancer. I learned the news just before Christmas. I lost my job in September and spent all of my savings for surgery to remove the lung where a tumor was located, hoping it would be benign. No such luck. Faced with more than $3,000 for chemotherapy and additional medication and blood work, I am hoping that some kind soul might see this sweet face and feel generous enough to help in some way.
Charlie used to come to work with me at a store I managed and performed tricks and charmed even the toughest customers. He graciously welcomes all people and other animals and hasn’t an enemy in the world. He has been with me through thick and thin. I would do anything for this sweet little guy who has been the best friend a person could have.
He is only 8 years old and looks and acts absolutely perfect, aside from a bad haircut from the surgery. He has had two chemo treatments and has shown no signs of any side effects. His wonderful doctor says that he could potentially have years of quality life with this protocol and I know he’s not ready to leave this world yet and I can’t bear to lose him. We would greatly appreciate any help we can get.
